The Bedford OB 74th anniversary and Get-Together held on Sunday 7 July at Long Melford, Suffolk was a great success – the weather was fantastic and a total of 16 Bedford coaches were there to enjoy a wonderful venue of Melford Hall. A huge thank you to everyone who travelled to attend an a big thank you to John Stiles as the photographer for the day.
The following were in attendence at the event:
A couple of coaches didn’t make it due to mechanical problems but all in all it was a great turn out.
The Eddie Trigg “Best in Class” trophy, the winner of which was selected by the OB owners themselves, was presented to Stephen Golynia of Suffolk, owner of CCB 861. Congratulations!
The Blue Motors Trophy for the “Coach with Ambience” was selected and presented by Directors Billy Brayford and Judith Poole to Stuart Jones, Lincs., owner of MYB 33 – Well done!
A special thank you goes to the Watt’s family who travelled all the way from the Shetlands to see one of the coaches they had previously owned – HGE 219 – and it’s still going strong today under the ownership of Nick Taylor.
