Restoration: JWU 307 - Bedford OB, 1950 (UK)

First registered 31/3/1950 to Lunn of Rothwell, Nr Leeds. Delivered in manufacturer's colours of red and cream.

In July 1962 passed to CJ Towler, Nr Wisbech. Used on school work.

In May 1977, passed to late Peter Squibb in a derelict condition. Next 13 years in restoration at Castle Point Transport Museum on Canvey Island.

In June 1990 registered FSV 424 and back on road under Cooks Coaches of Southend.

In December 1994 passed to Classic Coaches, Jersey for a tourist operation with new registration J 9151.

In May 2002 passed to Martin Hawkins of Clophill, Bedfordshire and re-registered as JWU 307.

Needed a couple of small body jobs and attention to the brakes and servo but it's amazing what you can do with fibreglass and liquid wood and call it restoration! Hence this small job has turned into a full scale rebuild - as you can see from the pictures!
